About
I am an epidemiology graduate student advised by Colin Dormuth at the University of British Columbia. Much of my research has been generously supported by a SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship and a Faculty of Medicine Graduate Student Award.
My research uses diverse administrative databases (PharmaNet, PopData BC, US IBM Marketscan) to evaluate drug safety and effectiveness. As well, I monitor and evaluate novel physician compensation models (e.g., LFP, capitation).
Previously, I worked as a Senior Economist with the BC Ministry of Health and studied psychology at the University of British Columbia. In my free time, I like to watch the LA Lakers and run (training for a sub 3:15 marathon).
